Located at the northwest of the Gyeongsangnam-do Province (Center-South of the Republic of Korea), Geochang has a population of 63.206 inhabitants. The city is surrounded by 2 National Parks: the Deogyusan and the Gayasan National Parks. Other City tourist attractions are the Suseungdae Park and Wolseong Valley. Geochang produces excellent agricultural products including apples, strawberries, omija (a North Asian berry), and grapes.
