© Araceli Merino Algaida is a city located at the centre of Mallorca’s island, east of the capital. It belongs to the 'Pla' district and is bordered by cities of Palma, Santa Eugènia, Sencelles, Lloret de Vistalegre, Montuïri and Llucmajor. The name of Algaida, of arab origin, means “the forest”.
