Representatives from Colima, León-Guanajuato, Tenango del Valle and Zacatecas attended the event, as well as the following IAEC recently joined members: Chihuahua, Purísima de Bustos, Salvatierra and Santa Ana Maya.

After the formal welcome to newcomers, each new IAEC member presented their city and participants visited the Science Center facilities.

The Director of the IAEC Delegation for Latin America, Laura Alfonso, participated by videoconference from Rosario (Argentina) and explained the agreements reached at the Executive Committee meeting that took place recently in Poland. In addition, she invited attendants to participate at the forthcoming Educating Cities Award, which will open for applications in the coming weeks.

Last, IAEC member cities presented the work plans they are implementing at their respective municipalities as Educating City and the new logo for the mexican network was shown.
