Torres Vedras

Torres Vedras is located on the west coast of Portugal, 40 km far from Lisbon. Composed by the urban centre of the same name and 12 parishes, Torres Vedras is, with a total surface area of 407 km2, the largest municipality in the Lisbon region. The city has a population of around 80,000 inhabitants. Its coastline is 20 km long, and it is a major tourist area.
