For the first time, the activity report is presented in four languages: Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.

The content of the report includes the prologue by the Mayor of Barcelona and President of the IAEC, a summary of the initiatives from each territorial network, as well as key figures from the year, such as the addition of 20 new cities from 5 countries and the financial accounts. It also highlights the Curitiba Congress, which brought together 17,000 participants from 136 municipalities, and previews the 2026 Granollers Congress, focused on education and culture.

The report further emphasizes significant achievements, such as the International Day of the Educating City, with participation from over 155 cities, and the Award to Best Practices in Values-Based Education, which recognized Mexico City, Santo André, and Odivelas. Among other milestones, it highlights the adoption of Portuguese as an official language and the approval of the new ethical code. Finally, it introduces the renewal of the Experience Bank, which now features an enhanced interface, along with publications and resources accessible to cities in 2024.
