Gondomar

© Rafael Aleixo (Flickr) City of the North region of Portugal located at the metropolitan area of Porto. The city occupies a hilly surface of 131,86 km2  at the right bank of the Duero River. The economy of the city is really diversified being the active tourism –and specifically the water sports- an economic in increase. Gondomar is famous as well for its handicraft jewellery. Among the historic heritage of Gondomar is worth mentioning the Chapel of San Isidoro located at the summit of the Mount Crasto where is possible to see a unique panoramic view of the city.
