This project is an educational tool for young people from 6 to 18 years of age that seeks to train people committed to human rights and the environment that surrounds them.
Through a working group network undertaken in 5 countries of the European Union, students worked on skills related to participation and civics education, designing and carrying out an action program in their schools or neighborhoods. They presented their local conclusions and proposals at a Public Hearing to the municipal government, which answered them and sent back their commitments. At the international level, a Conference was organized in which some projects of the participating schools were presented. Afterwards, they were proposed to create Twinnings with rural schools in Latin America. In these Twinnings, experiences were exchanged and activities carried out in order to generate critical awareness amongst the students and consolidate a network of schools in different Latin American, European and Portuguese-speaking African countries.
