Call to the IAEC General Assembly in Turin
All IAEC member cities have officially been called to the Ordinary General Assembly meeting that will be held next March 13th in Turin (Italy) –Palazzo di Città, piazza Palazzo di Città 1- at 02:45 PM first call and at 03:00 PM second call.
Proposed agenda:
- Reading and adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting.
- Vote on new members and leavers.
- Report on Activities 2014.
- 2014 Financial report.
- 2015 Action Plan.
- 2016 Budget.
- Information on the14th International Congress 2016.
- Question time.
The Assembly will open with a lecture on “The City as an educative ecosystem”, by Mr. Andrea Gavosto, Director of the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation, followed by a roundtable of Local Authorities which will share with us Educating Cities’ good practices. Furthermore, a visit programme to innovative experiences of the City of Turin has been prepared for March 13 in the morning. Here attached you will find the programme of activities.
If your city would like to add other issues to the proposed agenda, please notify the Secretariat by e-mail (edcities@bcn.cat) or fax (+34 93 3427729) before 2th March so that the final agenda can be prepared.
The registration and hand out of documents will start at 14:45 AM. All participants, which are not officially appointed as delegates before the Association, must be accredited by means of Delegation A Form. Cities unable to participate at the meeting may vote by proxy by delegating their vote to another member city by filling in the Delegation B Form and informing the said city. In both cases forms must be submitted to the Secretariat by 8 March. According to Article 14 of the Association Internal Regulations the maximum number of proxies that a city can receive shall not exceed ten.
