Playa del Carmen

© elelicht Playa del Carmen is the main city of the Solidaridad municipality, located in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. Its population is 209,634 inhabitants. The city is bathed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea and forms part of the most important group of cities on the Mayan Riviera. This is why the main economic activity is tourism.
