
Rio Brilhante is a municipality in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, with a population of approximately 38,000 inhabitants. The city is in a region with landscapes characterized by vast plains and cultivated areas since its economy is based mainly on agriculture (soybeans, corn, cotton and sugar cane) and livestock. It is a center of rural traditions and popular festivities, such as the Festa do Peão de Boiadeiro, the Exposição Agropecuária, the Carnival of Rua and the Festa Junina.
