Consult the updated programme of the 14th IAEC Congress
The organisation is advancing on the preparation of the programme of the 14th IAEC Congress which will take place in Rosario (Argentina) next June. The Congress Team has confirmed that the opening plenary conference will be given by the French philosopher Gilles Lipovetzki.
The 14th IAEC Congress Team has made public the profiles of the speakers of various conferences and dialogues of the 14th IAEC Congress which will take place in Rosario next 1-4 June.
Along this line, has announced that the opening conference will be undertaken by the French scholar Gilles Lipovetzki. The plenary sessions will be given by scholars having a broad knowledge on issues such as youth (Mr Carles Feixa, Mr Ernesto Rodríguez, Mr Pablo Vommaro), public space (Mr Carlos Galano), el multiculturalism (Mr Mbuyi Kabunda Badi), health (Ms. Carme Borrell), fine arts (Ms Eulàlia Bosch, Mr Julio Ramos), urban planning (Mr Fernando Carrión), pedagogy (Mr Jari Lavonen) or urban culture (Mr José Manuel Valenzuela Arce).
As regards the speakers from the political world, it is worth mentioning the contribution from the Minister of Education from the Province of Santa Fe, Ms. Claudia Balagué, the Minister of Innovation and Culture of Santa Fe, Ms ‘Chiqui’ González, and the Secretary of Education of Minas Gerais, Ms Macaé Maria Evaristo Dos Santos.

The programme includes as feel sessions of presentation of good practices (workshops and speakers’ corner), a Mayor’s roundtable, a roundtable of presentation of the good practices who will receive the Educating Cities’ Award, study visits to projects of the city of Rosario, etc.
