On 30 November, we celebrate the seventh edition of the International Day with the slogan: “The Educating City is a city of peace and opportunities”.

With this celebration, we intend to mobilise all social agents in your cities so that they join efforts to promote peace, coexistence, solidarity and inclusion. The Day intends to be a dynamic and participatory event that promotes dialogue and raises awareness on all the opportunities that the municipality offers, contributing to the creation of new synergies.

The activities proposed for this edition favour a crosscutting approach between the various areas of local governments and intend to help reflect on the parallelism between seeds and the opportunities offered by the city, as well as the importance of cultivating peace and harmonious living.

We suggest organising trips to parks or the countryside, visiting allotments, planting trees, various activities related to seeds, workshops to draw flowers and peace doves (the IAEC will provide design templates to help organise the workshops), etc.
