New Bank of Experiences!
We introduce the new International Documents Databank (BIDCE), a portal that compiles over 550 experiences shared by associated cities and municipalities worldwide over the past few years.
As you know, the BIDCE features best practices in urban education, encompassing a wide range of topics such as the environment, equal opportunities, childhood, youth, the elderly, gender, culture, coexistence and peace culture, citizen participation, social inclusion, healthy living, sports, urban planning, and public spaces.
Given the technological advancements, updating the BIDCE was essential. The new portal showcases experiences in a much more visual format and allows for the easy and quick incorporation of audiovisual material, such as videos from YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion, to better illustrate these experiences. It also includes new functionalities, such as the ability to download experiences in PDF format for easier reading. Additionally, the platform features an intuitive search engine that supports advanced searches.
The new BIDCE also includes a section for highlighted experiences, which will be updated based on current events, starting with the 10 winners and finalists of the 2024 Educating Cities Award.
The experiences on the new platform are available in Spanish, English, and French, and future additions will also be available in Portuguese.
Additionally, this platform will serve to receive and manage experiences submitted for regional and international meetings, as well as Award applications.
We invite you to visit the new portal at: https://bidce.org/en/
