On 30 November we will celebrate the International Day of the Educating City, with the slogan: “The Educating City is a city of peace and opportunities”.

One of the proposals for this edition consists in organising activities that encourage reflection on the parallelism between seeds and opportunities that the city offers, as well as the importance of cultivating peace, good coexistence and the conservation of biodiversity.

We suggest conducting workshops where each citizen may contribute to making a mural by writing down the opportunities that the Educating City offers in flower petals and peace doves.

The materials to prepare for the workshop are now available at the event website. You can print out the designs of flowers and peace doves and distribute it in districts, schools, youth or elderly houses, libraries, etc.

We are confident that you will take advantage of this celebration to raise awareness on the educating opportunities your city offers and to forge new alliances!
