Participatory amateur film programme developed by senior citizens and people with functional diversity attending Anadia’s social institutions
The amateur film programme “ArtcomVida” forms part of the Action Plan of the Municipal Government of Anadia. Its third edition (held in 2019) saw the presentation of 14 short films made by senior citizens and people with functional diversity, who are users of Anadia’s social institutions.
The films focus on themes chosen by the participants: active ageing, the promotion of physical and mental health, television entertainment, local traditions, personal experiences and feelings, among others.
Following two screening sessions, the short films are presented with awards as part of an “Oscars” ceremony, a long-awaited moment for the participants, due the recognition and demonstrations of appreciation and admiration they receive.
“ArtcomVida” is aimed at users of Anadia’s social institutions, as well as those of neighbouring municipalities, families and friends of the participants, and the wider community.
