Meeting of the Argentina Network
The Argentina Network meets in Buenos Aires on 20 May, with the participation of cities of all over the country, coordinated by San Justo.
The meeting is held under the theme: “Public Policies for Equality. Cities that care” and it’s the first get-together to prepare the 2023 Congress of the Argentina Network, which will take place in San Justo.
The event was held face to face and online. The first panel featured the presentation of Juan Camicassa (CIPPEC), who discussed the strengths, opportunities and challenges of the design of Public Policies in cities.
Also, during the first panel, the city of Buenos Aires presented the project “Indicators on Care – Early Childhood Infraestructure”.
On the other hand, Lucas Raspall, Human Development Deputy City Councillor, spoke about the “Care Plan” carried out in Rosario. Finally, Nicolás Cuesta, Mayor of San Justo, introduced the initiative “Comprehensive Public Policies for Care.”
The event continued with a visit to the Polo Educativo Mugica, the largest educational complex in Buenos Aires, which concentrates early childhood, primary and secondary school. Last, several argentinian cities presented their projects: Gral. Alvear, San Francisco, Villa Carlos Paz and Villa Constitución.
