The theme of the 16th Congress is: “City of change as a space for creativity and innovation: Music, environment, leisure and participation”.

International Congresses are an important moment in the life of the Association and provide member cities with the opportunity to learn and exchange among them. The Scientific and Organising Committees are working to offer us an interesting programme that will allow us to gain an in-depth knowledge on the on-going transformation in our cities. Thus, an important part of the programme is dedicated to the exchange of experiences and know-how. In addition, we will have the opportunity to learn from Katowice through study visits to local good practices.

We call for innovative proposals from member cities related to the following Congress’ sub-themes:

• Education for sustainability and a green environment
• Leisure: fostering healthy life-styles and quality of life
• Music and other arts

Active participation at the Congress can either be by sumitting “Experiences for Discussion” or at “Speakers’ Corners”. Additional information on the Congress sub-themes and the presentation options is available at the attached documents.
