During the inauguration of the Seminar, the municipal president of Zacatecas, Ms. Judit Guerrero López, said that with this activity, Zacatecas is fully joining the global movement of Educating cities.

The IAEC General Secretary, Ms. Marina Canals and the Director of the Delegation for Latin America, Ms. Laura Alfonso, presented the activities of the Association.

After that, Dr. Joan Manuel del Pozo, Professor at the University of Girona, gave the Conference “Educating City and Local Governance”, and the Brazilian writer and Philosopher, Dr. Angélica Sátiro, dynamised a workshop.

The following day a second session of the seminar was held for workers and municipal councilors.
