© Câmara Municipal de Angra do Heroísmo Portuguese city located in the Terceira Island (Azores). It has over 35.000 inhabitants in 19 freguesías (civil parishes) and 237 square km. It is one of the three capitals of the Azores. Given its rich cultural heritage and architecture, it was classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1983. It’s also home of the University of the Azores.
